Sacramental Preparation

Sacrament of Reconciliation
Making use of this Sacrament can help you to grow to be more like Christ. Some go once a year - which is the minimum required by the Church- some go monthly, some go when they know they have done something that breaks their relationship with God or someone in their life. We need to get things off our chest and we need to hear that we are forgiven.

How do I know if I have sinned and need the Sacrament? Click here for a good Examination of Conscience.

If it has been awhile, here is a "How To" . Remember: the priest does not remember your sins the next time he sees you. He wants you to experience freedom in Christ.

Here is when you can experience the wonderful grace of this Sacrament at our parish:
After every 8am Mass except Wednesdays, Saturdays, 3-4pm and by appointment.

The Sacrament of Marriage
Congratulations! You have found love and we are delighted for you. We want to help you prepare to have the best life possible, so please contact our Pastor, Fr John, at least nine months in advance of the proposed wedding date. You can contact him through the parish offices at (517) 393-3030.

Infant Baptism
You have had a baby-congratulations!
Baptizing your baby is an important moment both in your life and in the life of your child. When you have your child baptized, they become a child of
God and enter into the life of Christ. Through baptism we are freed from sin and reborn as children of God. It is the sacrament which gives us access to every other sacrament. Giving your child the very life of God is the best give you can give to them.

Classes will be once a month on Sundays at 2pm. The parents and Godparents are asked to come for one 2-hour session and discussion. To sign up for a class call the parish offices. The dates are:
